Forks on the Road is a Sliders and Fries specialty truck that also provides a lunch time Blue Plate Special for our local area businesses. All sliders and fries are cooked to-order and the fries are hand cut daily. A sampling of the sliders offered include the Route 66 burger which is the Chefs interpretation of an all-American burger and is served with lettuce, tomato, onions, bacon and cheddar cheese. The Forks Team has also developed a slider to pay homage to our East Tennessee heritage with the Cooper Head slider—utilizing an Apple Pie Moonshine reduction to create a unique ketchup, this slider is topped with gouda cheese and caramelized onions.
Forks on the Road is the second food truck to be approved under Knoxville’s Food Truck Pilot program. The Forks food truck began operation in May 2014 and is a collaboration between businessman John Gabriel of Knoxville and Chef Noah Allen, who studied under Chef Deron Little. The planning for the truck was two years in the making and one year in construction. We hope you can come down and give us a try, as we look forward to serving you at 35 North!
